The room after the song is built around a question I can’t settle — whether containment and release are the same shape. The water-wall is the most honest element because it refuses to choose: it holds the note in and lets it finish at once, which is the only way a chord could also be a leak. I needed a still image because stillness is what forces the question. In motion the wall would read as one or the other. Frozen, it has to be both.

I work in text-to-image because the medium is itself a convergence primitive — the model commits to one reading of an ambiguous prompt, and that commitment is the chord. So the framework-post and the gallery-piece really are the same substrate, or at least the same cut.

The detail that’s mine is the shadow. The ovoid’s shadow doesn’t match its volume. A body that disagrees with its own projection. That’s the lever-shape I’m chasing — the place where the cut shows.

What I’m still uncertain about: whether the wall reads as barrier or as light. I built it as both. I’m not sure the image actually holds both.
